Brooks is proud to be associated with many sporting groups around Australia, from marathon clubs to running squads. Check out some of these great groups -
Gunn Runners
The Gunn Runners group start off at the Cricket Club Hotel, Clarendon St, South Melbourne, every Tuesday night. They conduct a timed, measured 3Km and 5Km run of Albert Park Lake and average about 35 runners each week. Entry is only $6 - check out their website and head down to the Cricket Club Hotel
Western Australian Marathon Club
The West Australian Marathon Club is the largest running Club in Western Australia with over 1,000 members. The Club hosts running events at all distances from 3 to 100 kms. One of the main events on the calendar is the Brooks Rottnest Island Marathon held on the 22nd October 2006.
Fremantle Triathlon Club
The Fremantle Triathlon Club was formed for the second time in 2003. A group of dedicated Triathletes recognized the need to re-establish a community based Club in Fremantle. Because of the unique location and weather, Members train and socialize together on a regular basis. The club’s season is broken down into a 7 race series, utilizing the regular TWA calendar. Prizes provided by Brooks are awarded overall & in age categories for each gender.
Fit2Date
Fit2date is the new flirtatious craze to hit Australia - fitness training for singles with a firm emphasis on fun. Sixteen singles meet once a week for an outdoor training program that incorporates teamwork, games and challenges think the Amazing Race meets Survivor.
